Grading period -10% Classroom Presence/ Organization, 40% Sketchbook/Art History, 50% Projects Portfolio.
Assessment is designed to focus on independent learning of skills and personal growth. Students are expected to have sketchbooks and pencils ready for every single class period.
Students will be expected to maintain a sketchbook. Artists use sketchbooks to record observations, sketches, and ideas that either stand on their own or contribute to long term projects. Students will sketch from the front and take notes from the back.
