Sketchbooks! We be using our sketchbooks starting this week.
Students will take their prepared cards and will gather in their groups to see if they can recreate the image of the original image – (puzzle pieces) first without the image and then with the image. Students will be asked to reflect on the essential questions –
What is the difference between Representation and Abstraction? Interpretive question -Which one of Chuck Close’s painting styles is more accurate? as a small group and then as a written reflection in their sketchbook.
